Project Overview

As health and wellness trends continue to grow, and more people are turning to healthy drinks to improve their wellbeing, increase energy, and support natural detoxification. From smoothies and juices to healthy shots, new raw ingredients these beverages have become a popular part of everyday routines between many different type of sectors: Young professionals, Gym trainers, Senior professionals, Hollywood actresses, Housewives, etc.

Despite their popularity, finding the right detox approach can be difficult. Individual goals, dietary preferences, and lifestyles vary, making generic recommendations ineffective. The large amount of wellness information available online can also leave users feeling confused about which options are best for them.

Many people struggle to stay consistent with healthy habits due to a lack of guidance, motivation, and personalization.

This project introduces a Healthy Drinks Personalised App that helps users to get the juices recommendations and or to  build a more effective detox experience, or just to create your own. By analysing personal preferences and wellness goals, the app provides tailored drink recommendations, customised detox plans, and progress tracking.

The aim is to make healthy choices simpler, more engaging, and easier to maintain over time.

The Challenge

People looking to improve their health through choosing drinks are normally out of game, as they do not know the right mixes, and the proper fruit combinations or simple the disconcert about the different alternatives to the best natural foods, and in that way they are not able to create a good detox drinks.
With countless recipes, products, and wellness trends available online, it can be challenging to identify which options are genuinely beneficial and suitable for their goals.

Although healthy drinks and detox programmes have become increasingly popular, there is still a lack of personalised tools that guide users throughout their wellness journey. Many individuals struggle to maintain consistency, track their progress, monitor hydration, and receive recommendations adapted to their preferences and lifestyle.

User Interviews

User interviews were conducted to gain a deeper understanding of users’ hydration habits, detox goals, and challenges when choosing healthy drinks. Participants shared their experiences with existing wellness applications, highlighting the need for more personalised recommendations and easier progress tracking. The insights gathered helped identify key user needs and informed the design decisions for the proposed Healthy Drinks Personalised App.

Key Foundings from my Research

The user interviews revealed that many participants are interested in improving their health through healthy drinks and detox routines but often struggle to find trustworthy and personalised guidance. Most users rely on online sources and social media for information, which can be overwhelming and sometimes inconsistent.

Due to a lack of motivation, progress tracking, and personalised recommendations. While many had used hydration or nutrition apps before, they felt that existing solutions focused on general wellness rather than providing a tailored detox experience.

Using the insights collected from the user interviews, a set of personas was developed to represent the main target users of the Healthy Drinks Personalised App. These personas provided a clearer understanding of users’ health goals, motivations, daily routines, and challenges when trying to maintain healthy drinking and detox habits.

This user flow was designed to create a seamless and intuitive experience that guides users from onboarding to purchase with minimal friction. The structure prioritises personalisation early in the journey, allowing users to receive detox recommendations based on their goals, preferences, and lifestyle choices.

The flow also provides flexibility by offering both curated detox plans and a fully customisable juice creation experience, catering to different user needs and levels of engagement. By keeping the purchasing process simple and logical, the design aims to increase user confidence, improve conversion rates, and encourage long-term interaction with the app.

Low Fidelity Wireframes

Low-fidelity wireframes were created to quickly explore the app’s layout, user flow, and core functionality before investing time in detailed visual design and high-fidelity prototypes.

Development of the Brand

The Funky Juice brand was developed to communicate freshness, energy, individuality, and a modern approach to healthy living. The visual identity combines vibrant colours, expressive typography, and natural elements to create a brand that feels both playful and authentic, while standing out within the competitive health and wellness market.

Logo Design

The logo uses a bold and energetic visual style, reflecting the brand’s mission of making healthy drinking habits exciting and accessible. The paint-splash effect conveys freshness, movement, and the natural extraction process associated with freshly pressed juices. The transition from deep red to vibrant orange symbolises vitality, energy, and the transformation that users experience throughout their detox journey.

The small leaf element integrated into the wordmark reinforces the connection to natural ingredients, health, and sustainability, balancing the bold urban aesthetic with an organic touch.

Colour Palette

The colour palette was carefully selected to represent the ingredients, freshness, and wellbeing associated with healthy juices and detox products.

Primary Colours

  • Red (#D71920) – Represents energy, passion, motivation, and vitality.
  • Orange (#F27A2A) – Symbolises freshness, positivity, creativity, and healthy living.

Secondary Colours

  • Light Peach – Adds warmth and approachability.

Together, these colours create a vibrant yet balanced visual identity that feels healthy, approachable, and modern.

The mood board was inspired by the intersection of urban culture and natural wellness. Key visual themes include:

Bronx by The Streets

The primary typeface selected for the brand is Bronx by The Streets.

This typeface was chosen because it combines a strong urban personality with a bold and confident presence. Its distinctive character helps the brand stand out while reflecting the energetic and unconventional nature of Funky Juice.

The typography supports the brand values by communicating:

The bold letterforms create strong visual impact across digital and print applications, while maintaining readability and brand recognition. When combined with the vibrant colour palette and organic visual elements, the typeface helps position Funky Juice as a fresh, contemporary, and memorable wellness brand.

High Fidelity Wireframes

High-fidelity mockups were developed to visualise the final look and feel of the application, incorporating branding, typography, colour palette, and interactive elements. These detailed designs helped validate the user experience and ensured consistency before moving into prototyping and development.

Usability Testing

The positive feedback regarding navigation, product discovery, and customisation suggests that the application has the potential to achieve high user engagement and customer retention.

As the app evolves, improvements such as enhanced nutritional information, personalised recommendations, and more advanced filtering options could further increase user satisfaction and support informed purchasing decisions. The popularity of the Create Your Own Juice feature also presents opportunities to strengthen customer loyalty through personalised experiences.

Overall, the findings indicate that the current design effectively meets user needs while offering clear opportunities for future enhancements that can improve usability, increase conversion rates, and encourage long-term user adoption.
